If you've bought from us before, you'll know us as SOK Battery NZ. We're now Sogen Energy, same company, same people, same warehouse in Nelson, same products you've trusted all along. Only the name has changed.

Sogen Energy is the trading name of Sogen Energy Limited, a New Zealand registered company (NZBN 9429050260409), based in Nelson and owned and operated by Brendon Shervell. We're a real business with a real address, real stock on the shelf, and a team you can pick up the phone and talk to.

We supply high-performance LiFePO4 lithium batteries and complete energy storage solutions for New Zealand conditions, including off grid homes, tiny homes, RVs and motorhomes, marine, solar, and industrial setups.

We're an authorised New Zealand distributor of SOK batteries, importing genuine Grade A product directly from the manufacturer. We back that up with Victron power electronics, solar panels, charge controllers, cabinets, cables and all the accessories you need to build a system that actually works and keeps working.

Everything we sell is genuine, new, and chosen because we'd happily run it ourselves. No grey market stock, no mystery cells, no cutting corners.

You're dealing directly with the people who import the gear, not a faceless drop shipper. That means honest advice before you buy, proper technical support after, and a manufacturer backed warranty (7 years on most batteries, 10 years on rack batteries) that we stand behind here in New Zealand.

We hold stock in our Nelson warehouse and ship NZ wide, so you're not waiting weeks on something coming from overseas. And because we work directly with SOK and use this gear in real installs, we can actually help you spec the right setup rather than just take your order.
