    If you've landed here looking for SOK Battery NZ, you're in the right place. We changed the name to Sogen Energy, but nothing else changed. Same batteries, same people, same stock sitting in Nelson.

    Why the name changed

    We started out doing one thing, which was bringing SOK LiFePO4 batteries into New Zealand. Over the years the business grew past that. We now build our own pre wired Energy Hub cabinet systems, supply Victron gear, stock cable and DC distribution, and we're developing a certified marine battery range. Trading as SOK Battery NZ stopped making sense when SOK was only part of what we do.

    We're still the New Zealand distributor for SOK. That hasn't changed and isn't going to.
