The SOK SK12V280H is a workhorse. With 280Ah of usable capacity and a hefty 3584Wh of energy in a single 12V unit, this is the battery you reach for when you're powering a whole cabin, a serious backup system. Built-in heating pads handle the cold automatically, so charging keeps going through Central Otago winters, alpine sheds, and frosty Waikato mornings when other lithium batteries would sit there refusing to take a charge.

Inside you'll find genuine grade A 280Ah prismatic LiFePO₄ cells paired with SOK's own custom-designed BMS — not the generic off-the-shelf board you'll find in most competitor batteries. It handles 200A continuous discharge, 250A peak, and protects against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit, and high or low temperature events. The aluminium case is built to take a beating, and the design is fully serviceable — pop the cover, swap a cell or the BMS, and keep going.
